Britney Spears is opening up about a beauty experience she described as 'toxic,' using it as a warning to her fans.
The Baby One More Time singer took to Instagram on Friday and shared that she was left with a droopy eye following a recent Botox procedure. In the video, Spears demonstrated what happened by pressing her fingers to her left eye. She alleged that a doctor āput so much Botox in this left eye that it drooped down like that.ā
āAnd itās just now starting to raise up and be normal again,ā she said, adding that the ordeal lasted for weeks. Spears called the experience āso embarrassing,ā explaining that her eye remained droopy for about āfour weeks.ā It comes after Britney's son broke his silence on rumors surrounding her being 'cloned'.

āGirls, you have to be careful if you do Botox,ā the 44-year-old pop superstar said. āThese people and these doctors, they can really f--- your eyes up.ā
Britney continued with a warning about cosmetic procedures. āBe careful with these people. They try to change, like, your face and try to, like, f--- things up,ā she said. āBe careful with your bodies, because itās yours and you own it. So, thatās it.ā
The Grammy winner captioned the post, āYou canāt trust anyone!!!ā

Her post about the cosmetic mishap came shortly after she shared a more emotional message about her personal life. In a lengthy statement, Spears admitted that she feels like she āfailed as a motherā after revealing that one of her sons, either Sean Preston, 20, or Jayden James, 19, told her he does not believe in God.
Spears made it clear she disagrees, writing that she believes there is āa Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven.ā She added, āIāve been there [and] Iāve felt it."
Elsewhere in the same post, Spears reflected on a painful moment involving her family. She claimed her estranged father, Jamie Spears, and her mother, Lynne Spears, āsecretlyā took her sons to the beach without her. According to Spears, the situation left her devastated.

She said she āfelt demoralizedā and recalled, āI went to [my] knees and cried for two months.ā
The singer also spoke about her past, saying she ānever got to be meā because she āwas brainwashed into an ignorant system where every goddamn person took advantage of me.ā The statement appeared to reference her 13-year conservatorship, which ended in November 2021.
Since the conservatorship was terminated, Spears has continued to share unfiltered moments on social media, including dancing videos and candid updates about her life. She has also faced personal challenges, including a DUI arrest in March and entering rehab the following month.
Spears has reconnected with her sons in recent years. They have reportedly played a major role in her decision to seek treatment following the DUI incident, for which she later accepted a āwet recklessā offer in court.
Meanwhile, Britney's Instagram was deleted after the singer posted alarming updates.
