No, there is no new episode of SNL tonight, Jan. 3.
The last new episode of 2025 aired on Dec. 20, when host Ariana Grande and musical guest Cher helped say good-bye to cast member Bowen Yang, who left the show after that night.
Who is hosting next week and who is the musical guest?
SNL's extended holiday break will run through next weekend, but the show is scheduled to make a comeback on Jan. 17.
According to NBC, Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard will make his debut as host following the beloved sci-fi show's series finale, which dropped on New Year's Eve.
Wolfhard will be joined by first-time musical guest A$AP Rocky, who once made a cameo appearance during a 2018 episode hosted by Donald Glover.
