- In messages obtained by PEOPLE, Josh reportedly shared intimate details of his and Anna's sex life.

Josh Duggar's personal messages to his wife, Anna Duggar, have been revealed as he serves a 12-year prison sentence on child pornography charges.

On Friday, PEOPLE shared some of the NSFW messages Josh, 38, sent Anna, 37, while in custody at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas in December 2021. (That same month, he was found guilty of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material.)

"[I] miss you my lover. i miss being in the shower with you scrubbing, i miss watching you try on clothes, i miss watching you being sexy," Josh reportedly wrote in one message obtained by PEOPLE, also requesting Anna buy herself "something low cut."

He allegedly continued: "[O]r you can try on clothes and send me a pic of you in your bra and panties ;) or try on 'go to the private pool for sun' swimsuit? btw you should order you a 2-piece swimsuit since summer is coming on soon, get something hot and fun."

Josh reportedly concluded his message by declaring his affection for Anna and included a series of emojis that he seemingly used a lot in his sexually charged notes: "I LOVE YOU FOREVER! HUGS AND KISSES ... AND EVERYTHING ELSE TOO! XOXOXOXOXO O: I LOVE YOU SEXY! x: :}v :}OvO."

In another message sent a few days later, Josh reportedly requested Anna send him "pics asap as requested, imlied (sic), inferred or otherwise stated lol. nice one(s) with your twos in it! (OvO)."

When he allegedly only received one photo a week later, he reportedly told Anna, "p.s. - i cant (sic) wait till we can be alone again. i miss ALL of you! what specificially (sic) are you thinking/dreaming/fantasizing about today that you miss? i miss you and me being US! tell me later? :O."

The disgraced reality star, who starred on TLC's *19 Kids and Counting *with his devout Christian family, is currently serving time in the Federal Correctional Institute in Seagoville, Texas. Last week, he had two months added to his 151-month prison sentence and will now be released on Feb. 2, 2033. This is the third time his prison sentence was extended after his initial release date was set for August 2032.

Just days before his sentencing, Josh was reportedly still writing to Anna about "some great ideas of what we could be doing." Those ideas included "a really awesome foot rub," "a back rub," or "something relaxing."

Josh reportedly added: "And then we could really have some fun ... once we were nice and relaxed! So many memories flooding my mind right now."

He allegedly continued to request racy pictures of his wife and told Anna that her "sexy cleavage is amazing! thank you for thinking of me!"

Josh apparently even started writing fictional fantasies about Anna and shared his new hobby with her.

"[W]ell, i did a lot of writing. it helped. it was inverted, both of us going. both of us being alone. both of us enjoying our newest adventure. both of us having fun, with only us! both of us enjoying each other and taking things up a notch. the intensity is off the charts! you are amazing. you are fun! You are gorgeous, sexy, and beautiful -- all in one! you are my precious, lovely bride. my lover. my passion. my dream girl! I am yours and thank you for being mine! I LOVE ALL OF YOU ANNA!" he wrote, according to PEOPLE.

Josh reportedly ended that message with: "xoxoxoxo OvO{: :O."

Josh and Anna got married in 2008 and share seven children, aged 4 to 16—Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella, and Madyson. Following his release in 2033, he will be under a strict 20-year probation term, which prohibits him from unsupervised contact with any minors, including his own children.

Anna has supported her husband amid his conviction, and even reportedly criticized the legal system in an email sent to Josh while incarcerated. The 2022 email, obtained by PEOPLE, included a forwarded message from a friend who characterized his conviction as unjust.

“I just can’t even wrap my mind around this system of ours,” the correspondence stated. “[W]hat purpose does it serve to put a citizen away for that long, especially for a crime that was actually victimless?”

“I am incensed by the ridiculousness of it ALL,” the message also stated, per PEOPLE, who also reported his sentence was described by the person who wrote the email as “absolutely crazy.”

The Duggar family is also facing another legal matter concerning Joseph Duggar. The 31-year-old was arrested on March 18 on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older. He is accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl while on vacation in Panama City, Fla., in 2020.

Joseph has entered a plea of not guilty and is scheduled to be arraigned on May 18.
