Liam Neesonis singing high praises for hisCold Storage co-star Joe Keery.

During an appearance on The Tonight Showon Thursday (Jan. 29), the longtime actor opened up about working with Keery on the upcoming film—and had nothing but nice things to say.

"He's very funny. You know something, he is the modern day Cary Grant, I think," Neeson said during the show. "He can combine drama with comedy. He's a handsome guy, he's got great chemistry with Georgina Campbell, the other actress in the film."

While Neeson obviously thinks very highly of Keery, he admits that he hasn't seen all of his other work and has actually never tuned in to watch Stranger Things.

"But they were doing it for 10 years, he told me. Wow," Neeson said while adding that the only shows he truly binges are Nordic noir programs—crime series from Sweden or Finland.

Meanwhile, the feeling is mutual for Keery, who has previously expressed what an honor it was to work with Neeson.

"Liam is killer. We grew up with his movies, so this was pretty crazy. Working with him was checking a big box for me. And Liam is very like his character in this – both are very no-nonsense," Keery told SFX magazine.

The upcoming movie takes Neeson back to his action roots as a bioterror operative in the sci-fi horror flick.

The film follows the aftermath of a highly contagious, rapidly mutating fungus escaping a sealed facility. The operative must team up with two young storage facility employees to stop the spread as the microorganism begins to multiply and unleashes its brain-controlling, body-bursting terrors on the facility's inhabitants.

Cold Storage is set to hit theaters on February 13th.
