Man Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Car from Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Hills Home: Report

A man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a car and items from Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Hills property, a law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times
Kardashian and her four children were not home during the Aug. 9 incident as they are living elsewhere while the property is renovated, PEOPLE has learned

A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglarizing one of Kim Kardashian’s Los Angeles homes after a car was stolen from the property, according to a report.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Koerner told the Los Angeles Times that authorities were called to a home in the gated community of Hidden Hills just before 4 p.m. local time on Sunday, Aug. 9.
According to Koerner, a man was spotted putting multiple items into a vehicle at the home. He said that no one was in the property at the time of the incident.
PEOPLE has learned that the stolen car belonged to a staffer of The Kardashians star, 45. PEOPLE has also learned that Kardashian and her four children do not live in the home and are currently residing elsewhere while the property undergoes renovations. A law enforcement source told the Times that cars were still at the property.

The identity of the suspect has not been released and the investigation is ongoing, according to authorities, per the Times.
PEOPLE has reached out to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for comment.
In 2014, Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West bought a mansion in Hidden Hills for a reported $20 million.
However, in 2018, Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, shared in a post on X (then Twitter) that the house was worth $60 million. According to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE in October 2021, during Kardashian and West’s divorce, Kardashian bought the house and all of its belongings from the rapper, 49, for $23 million. The SKIMS founder has continued to live there with daughters North, 13, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, PEOPLE previously reported.

Kardashian and West finalized their divorce in November 2022. Two months before the divorce was finalized, Kardashian purchased a mansion in Malibu.
In a July 2023 episode of The Kardashians, the reality star celebrated the purchase as she showed sister Khloé Kardashian around the home.
“I bought a house in Malibu,” Kim said in a confessional. “This has been a dream of mine forever, and it’s just one of those pinch-me moments where I can’t believe I achieved a goal that I really didn’t think was realistic.”

Sunday’s suspected burglary comes nearly 10 years after Kim was involved in a robbery in which she was tied up and held at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room.
During the October 2016 incident, five masked men robbed her of jewelry worth nearly $9 million.
The mom of four testified during the trial of the suspects in May 2025 and told the court she thought she was going to die and “be raped” during the ordeal. Seven men and one woman were found guilty on May 23, 2025.
