President Donald Trump suggested he would have no issue seeing oil prices double where they are now in exchange for the U.S. launching its war against Iran, telling reporters that the war “would have been worth it.”
“The stock market is higher now than when we started this war, and I thought oil prices would go to $200, $250, and it’s at $100 now,” he said Wednesday while describing the price of crude oil, which is the main ingredient in gasoline. “Even if it went to $200, it would have been worth it.”

Trump also said he was willing to carry out the war in Iran in exchange for the Stock Market dropping by 20-25%.
“Look, and this is very simple. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon because, as tough as they are, we want to keep them alive. We want to keep all of you alive. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and they won't. And they have agreed to that among other things,” he said.
