With the group stage wrapping up at the 2026 World Cup, fans have gotten a good look at kits for all 48 teams. Nike, adidas and Puma have dominated most of the conversation, but Umbro and Saeta have caught attention too.

Due to FIFA regulations, some of the best kits haven't even been worn on the pitch yet, including Ghana's spider-themed jersey and Austria's mystical tie-dye kit. Thankfully, the African country did qualify for the round of 32, so there is a chance we will get to see the brilliant uniform on the World Cup stage after all.

The host countries brought a variety of kit inspiration to the global tournament. Mexico continues its tradition as one of the best-outfitted teams of the World Cup. One of Canada's kits is simply cringe-worthy. The United States' jerseys are kind of... yawn... All I'm going to say about that is one of 50 Cent's keys to life is if you can't make people like you, it's better to make them hate you than have them feel nothing at all...

With all three host nations in the round of 32, Lionel Messi smashing records and South Korea and their lovely lilac kits being eliminated, here's a look at the top seven World Cup kits left in the tournament:

7. Croatia

This is how you modernize a classic look. Croatia's kit features the country's signature checkerboard from 1990 and modernizes it with a bit of distortion. A white panel on the front adds dimension. And the design looks equally good in the red and white home kit and blue and black away jersey.

Croatia's Group L has not been decided yet, so we might get to see these awesome kits on the global platform some more.

Adidas is sending Germany off strong in its grand finale for the partnership that is as classic as bread and butter. The uniform has a good blend of tradition and modern design sensibilities. The home kit is an homage to the 1990 World Cup uniform, which West Germany wore to win the tournament and is arguably one of the best jerseys in the competition's history. The away jersey subtly utilizes the signature diamonds in a cool navy and teal colorway and is simply clean.

Germany easily won Group E, so we are thankful we get to see more of these excellent kits.

5. Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast has been looking good in its return to the World Cup. The orange home kit is a little on the bright side, but their away jersey is pretty awesome. The white base allows for an intricate design of palm trees in green and orange. The more you look at it, the more fascinating it is.

The African side actually hasn't worn their away kit yet, so we are hyped to see it in action.

MILTON KEYNES, ENGLAND - MARCH 28: Evann Guessand of Cote D'Ivore during an international friendly match between South Korea and Ivory Coast on March 28, 2026 in Milton Keynes, England.4. Mexico

Mexico did a really good job of storytelling between their three kits. The home kit is a rich green color and has a cool Aztec pattern with red stripes on the neck and sleeves. It harkens back to El Tri's 1998 World Cup jersey. The away uniform features a white base with a subtle triangle pattern and red and black accents. The black third kit, which also has a geometric print, is incredible as well.

Take your pick, you automatically know each kit represents Mexico. And the country continues to represent futbol excellence because El Tri won Group A to advance to the knockout round yet again.

Austria hasn't officially punched its ticket in the round of 32, but their away kit is too good to take off the list just yet. It has a tie-die base of mint and lavender and a gold pattern on top. What could have easily gone 90s Jazz paper cup is actually more along the lines of the Japanese artform of Kintsugi where broken pottery is fixed with gold lining. This is a masterpiece that also hasn't been work yet in the World Cup, but we are hoping to see soon!

VIENNA, AUSTRIA - MARCH 27: Carney Chukwuemeka of Austria celebrates after scoring his team's fourth goal during an international friendly match between Austria and Ghana at Ernst Happel Stadion on March 27, 2026 in Vienna, Austria.2. Ghana

Sorry, I'm not home right now. I'm walking in the spiderwebs of Ghana's fantastic home kit. The design pays homage to Kwaku Ananse, a spider-like figure and trickster in West African folklore. The bold black star representing the team name creates a clear focus. The bright yellow away kit is also striking and exudes confidence. It boosted the Black Stars to the round of 32.

We actually haven't gotten to see the home kit yet, so it's another one we are stoked about.

STUTTGART, GERMANY - MARCH 30: Antoine Semenyo of Ghana in action during the international friendly match between Germany and Ghana at MHP Arena on March 30, 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany.1. France

France knows how to win and they always look good doing it. The 2026 World Cup, where they punched their ticket to the round of 32 in two matches, is no different. The home jersey features a collar, which is always a fan favorite and a classic look. There's also a cool wavy pattern that is eye-catching and fresh. It has easily propelled Les Bleus to the top of Group I.

Speaking of fresh, the away shirt, which hasn't been worn yet, is a pleasant mint green color with copper accents. It actually pays homage to France gifting the Statue of Liberty to the United States, which is one of the host countries for this year's tournament. Brilliant!

Here are our other favorite kits from the 2026 World Cup:

South Korea

South Korea is the only team that was in our original Top 7 that didn't make the round of 32. So we must know a thing or two about look good, feel good, play good. The Son Heung-min-led team did a great job making purple, a heavily underutilized color, the base of their away kit. It's a rich violet color with a floral pattern that is quite elegant. The Taegeuk Warriors' home jersey is also strong. It's a vibrant red with tiger stripes. Very menacing.

Australia

Australia gets a solid nod of approval for their World Cup kits. The home jersey embraces the country's gold and green, which creates a sense of nostalgia and national pride. The coral and teal away kit, which unfortunately it seems like we won't get to see, represents Australia's beautiful sunrises and is just artsy enough.

Everyone is talking about Norway because of their epic Viking photoshoot, and also because of their amazing team photo. The details of the home kit is what makes this so great. The symmetry and alignment is elite. Sometimes copying and pasting a country's flag onto a kit can feel boring and lazy. But definitely not here. It gave Erling Haaland the confidence to do what he does: score.

Maker: Nike

Japan

Japan's World Cup kits celebrate the country well. The away jersey is simple yet strong with a white base and colorful straight lines representing the 11 players on the pitch and the 12th man, the fans. The navy home kit has a series of lines at the chest that create a rising sun motif. It is visually appealing and seemed to inspire national pride because Japan did, indeed, make it to the round of 32.
